Meet CARLA MCMILLAN: Yoga Teacher at This Is Yoga

What was your inspiration for becoming a yoga teacher?

I was a dancer my whole life and stopped dancing to focus on my final year of high school which was when I found yoga. I lost myself when I lost movement from my life. I have always known it is a part of me.

Your favourite yoga pose if you have one?

No specific pose. However I love yoga the most when breath and movement are in FLOW with one another. That’s magic.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

Sharing how modern day neuroscience makes sense of 1000 year old philosophies and how the practice of yoga makes it all make sense.
