What was your inspiration for becoming a yoga teacher?

To share the practice which I love and to help those find more connection with themselves. 

Your favourite yoga pose if you have one?

Navasana and Sirsasana.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

Creating space for those willing to be with their body, breath and thoughts. To witness the effects of yoga after class has ended.

About BELLA MAE:

Yoga was my saving grace and foundation when I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis (a chronic inflammatory autoimmune condition affecting the spine and sacral joints) in my early 20s. Moving my body mindfully over the last decade and a bit, has changed my life for the absolute better. I believe movement is medicine, as is stillness, and both can be used as tools in self-healing, growth and transformation. I adore sharing my love for yoga and pilates with others: they beautifully nourish the body as well as the mind. My vinyasa classes are strong yet playful, alignment focused, and always have a flow to them. With all my classes I offer a lot of options, so it's accessible to all. Oh and expect lots of yummy assists!
